I joined Ganges May 5th 1953 .I remember the PTIs 1967 - HMS Eagle Comms Staff. You would be fortunate not to hit something on the way down. My brother was at HMS GANGES in1952 ,he also joined HMS INDOMITABLE but was killed in the explosion which occured in 1953 at the time of his death he was 17 years old ,he would have been 19 on the 17-03-1953, please reply if possible .
